Artist Statement:

A painting for me is an opportunity to draw the viewer in and perhaps allow them to experience the feeling and beauty of a place as I have. My images are not meant to be a realistic recording of what is seen but an internal interpretation which goes beyond the ordinary. It is my desire to remind the viewer to take a moment to appreciate nature and reflect on what is important.
